Installation Overview

1. Ensure firearm and magazine are completely unloaded
2. Remove basepad, factory spring, and follower
3. Insert Gen 2 unit into magazine body
   • Spring side down toward basepad
   • Bullet topper oriented toward muzzle
4. Reinstall basepad securely

Adjustable Spring Tension System

The Gen 2 system is designed for tuning and cross-platform compatibility:

• Trim spring coils to adjust resistance
• 2–3 coils recommended for compact magazines
• 5–6 coils recommended for full-size / extended magazines
• Supports multiple magazine lengths with one system

This allows one insert to function across different platforms with minor tuning.
